Kitchen

There is a well equipped kitchen for students to do their own cooking. Large refrigerators are provided free of charge. You may have your own private refrigerator in your room for storage of food if requested.

 

Air Conditioning

Each bedroom has its own reverse cycle remote controlled air conditioning for cooling in summer and heating in winter. Some bedrooms also have ceiling fans.

 

Recreation

Recreation and games areas are located throughout the building. The main social area is located at the rear of the building. The large television room contains lounges and a  DVD player. The table tennis and games room is located away from students rooms and study areas.

Smoke and Fire Controls.

All bedrooms and common areas have been fitted with smoke and fire detection systems. The fire control system is connected directly to the fire brigade head office. These control systems are fully certified and serviced and monitored regularly.

 

Internet

A free high speed wireless broadband internet facility is provided for residents' use.  The wireless internet can be accessed from any location in the lodge and outside in the garden. 

 

Telephone Connections

A public phone is available for residents to use, and mobile phones work throughout the building. Individual phones can be connected to the rooms by arrangement.

 

Glynde Lodge provides a quiet and safe environment to enable students to study in peace and privacy. Glynde Lodge is located close to the city and  shopping and has a bus stop right at the front door.
