There is a well equipped kitchen for students to do their own cooking. A large refrigerator is provided free of charge.

There is a large laundry including washing machine and tumble dryer.

 

 

Recreation

The main social area is located at the front of the home. The large television room contains lounges and a  DVD player. The table tennis and games room is located away from students rooms and study areas.  There is a large yard for ball games, and an old disused tennis court to kick a soccer ball or football on.

Smoke and Fire Controls.

All bedrooms and common areas have been fitted with smoke and fire detection systems. These control systems are fully certified and serviced and monitored regularly.

 

Internet

A free high speed wireless broadband internet facility is provided for residents' use.  The wireless internet can be accessed from any location in the home and outside in the garden. 

 

Telephone Connections

Mobile phones work throughout the home. Individual phones can be connected to the rooms by arrangement.

 

Whitehouse Lodge provides a quiet and safe environment to enable students to study in peace and privacy. Whitehouse Lodge is located 5.85 kilometers from the city and has a bus stop right at the front door (Stop 12), only 7mins by bike, car or bus.
